What is the Legacy Atlas?

Each Legacy Exploration can also become part of Legacy Atlas, a global art project celebrating women and the worlds they inhabit.


For women seeking more than travel, this is an invitation to turn their journeys into a lasting legacy: fine-art photography that supports scholarships for girls and women through intimate, privately hosted events.


How you take part is entirely personal and always discussed together. Every chapter is bespoke—crafted around your story, your journey, your impact.

In the photographs here, you see Linda, who grew up in Sumba, a remote Indonesian island, and now studies at a hospitality school. I photographed her in her village and got her a scholarship to pursue her dreams in Bali.

Who Joins You on your Journey?

LIZA ANGELE

Doctor in Arts (PhD, Visual Storytelling) and fine-art photographer who focuses on women, culture, and the worlds they inhabit.


Her work begins during her Master of Science in Sociology, where she collaborates with the Maasai in Tanzania on community-led storytelling, and evolves through her Doctorate at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts and the University of Antwerp, creating in-community exhibitions that return portraits to the women portrayed.


She now brings everything she learned through her research into her own practice, creating fine-art photographic wall pieces that transform travel memories into art for private collectors, while continuing to photograph women around the world as part of her ongoing project, Legacy Atlas.

KEVIN O’CONOR

Expedition designer and yacht captain with over 200,000 nautical miles across the Caribbean, Pacific, Mediterranean, and Indian Oceans.


Kevin has spent more than two decades leading large-vessel expeditions, coordinating global yacht operations, and managing high-profile projects for private clients.

He has captained and overseen new builds and refits for superyachts up to 90 meters, served as U.S. Sales Representative for Nautor Swan and Rossinavi, and founded Berth One Palm Beach, a private marina and shipyard serving yachts up to 160 meters.

He brings deep expertise in navigation, safety, and large-scale logistics, ensuring every Legacy Exploration runs with absolute precision, comfort, and access.
